sourcing + all the little details.

Let’s talk sourcing! This might be one of my most favorite hobbies ever. I love to hunt down pieces for my home that are comfortable and feel like you are not in a museum but can be used. When it came to pulling together pieces for the house what was most important for me was functional beauty! Each of these companies stands out to me for having beautiful products that can take the daily wear and tear of a very active household and has wonderful customer service.

Schoolhouse took out some of the work for me when they published a blog about the farm – here you can find links to anything that they sell!

non-traditional hardwood flooring.

pun intended, I went against the grain with our floors in the farmhouse.

unique + simple tile.

paint colors.

the kitchen sink + floating shelves.

All of our sinks are from Duravit, and all of our plumbing fixtures are from Newport Brass. We adore the quality and look of both of these companies, and we’re very happy customers!

lighting.

Our dining room chairs are from Industry West, and they can be found here.

small + local artists that give me life.

furniture.

Our tan leather Article ‘Timber’ couches are one of our favorite pieces. We wanted cozy, yet structured + simple. These really hit the nail on the head. Click the photo below for the link.

Our living room coffee table is from Bludot, and I’ve placed two together for an extra large table centerpiece. It’s so functional!

Yet another Bludot win – our side table to one of the couches is the Coco Coffee Table.

Our simple fireplace tool holder can be found here.

You guys know how I love Schoolhouse, right? Our living room fan is one of their beautiful pieces!

Our TV room has a super functional console from Bludot. We just love it.

..and in that same TV room, we lounge on this beautiful couch from CB2.

Our master bedroom has one of my most favorite pieces ever, this king bed frame. CB2 for the win, friends.

Here’s another fan favorite – the bed frame in our guest room from Crate & Barrel.

The dresser in our twin bed guest room is from Crate&Kids. The bed frames in that same room can be found here, and the dresser in there is another favorite!

mirrors + other little details.

We have a tall living room mirror that doubles as decor, and it’s one of my favorite pieces. You can find that right here.

The mirror above the fireplace is from Crate & Barrel, and can be found here.

textiles + textures. rugs, pillows, throw blankets, and plants.

texture quite literally makes a house feel like a home if you ask me. one of my favorite, and most dangerous past times is shopping on Instagram and Etsy for all the little things that bring me so much joy. I love me a vintage rug, filled with colors and patterns that bring warmth into a space. worn out, torn or tattered, I don’t care – I just love them all the same!

Our living room rug is from RugsUSA, and the rug in our TV room, a beautiful braided material, can be found here.
